Overview

Audio Player Pro is a Chrome extension made by Norditco. It upgrades HTML5 <audio> elements in your browser with a custom player (waveform, speed, volume boost, A-B repeat, bookmarks, and related controls). This policy explains what data the extension and this website handle.

Data we do not collect

• We do not require an account or sign-in.
• We do not collect personal information, browsing history, or analytics.
• We do not sell, share, or monetize your data.
• The extension does not send your audio, page content, or settings to our servers.

Data stored on your device

Preferences and playback-related state are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This may include:

• Theme and player UI settings (waveform visibility, shortcuts, skip intervals, etc.)
• Activation mode and per-site enable/disable overrides
• Playback position for recently played audio sources
• Bookmarks and optional notes you create

This data stays on your device unless you clear it through the extension, Chrome settings, or by uninstalling the extension.

Permissions

Audio Player Pro requests permissions only to provide its features:

• Access to websites — to find <audio> elements and replace their controls with the enhanced player.
• Storage — to save your settings, bookmarks, and playback position locally.
• Scripting / activeTab — to inject and update the player UI on pages you visit when the extension is active.
• Downloads — only when you choose to download audio from a page.

This website

The public website for Audio Player Pro is a static landing and documentation surface. It does not require login and does not intentionally set tracking cookies for analytics or advertising. Standard server or hosting logs (such as IP address and request time) may be collected by the host when you visit the site; those are governed by the hosting provider and are not used by Norditco to profile you.

Third parties

The extension runs locally in Chromium-based browsers. If you install it from the Chrome Web Store, Google’s terms and privacy practices also apply to store distribution and updates.

Children’s privacy

Audio Player Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the extension or website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
